To the people who want to borrow material:
I have no objection to anybody using any material from this site on their own, providing it is within reason and on each page the material is used you mention that it was obtained from 80sNostalgia.com and provide a link to this site.

To the person who is currently jumping up and down screaming and shouting:
I don t like people stealing my material, so therefore do not believe in stealing other peoples hard work. In cases where I find something on the web that I would like to use, I always ask the authors permission first before using it myself.
There are instances however, where I do not know who the original author is, such as when I receive material by email, and therefore cannot ask permission. If you are the original author of any material on this site, please accept my apologies and if you wish for it to be removed, I will do so immediately.

As I understand it from reading disclaimers on other similar sites, it is fine to use copyright material providing firstly it is for non-commercial, non-profit-making use, and secondly it is within reason.
This site is for entertainment purposes only, and is non-commercial. It is most definitely non-profit-making, and I have my bank balance to prove it!
I believe that the material I place on this site is within reason. My aim is to give visitors a little taste of things they have since forgotten, and provide details of how to obtain merchandise should they wish to (i.e. details of places to purchase videos).
I have no idea whether or not what I understand to be the law is true. As far as copyright law and the Internet is concerned, I have been told it s a bit of a grey area. No-one can give me a definite answer.
It is not my intention to upset anyone. If anything, I feel that I am helping sales by providing the memories and a route to purchasing any associated merchandise if it is available.
I would also like to add that I have attempted to contact some companies who hold the copyright to some of the material on this site to ask permission, but have never received a response. In light of this, I have decided to follow the beliefs of other similar sites as far as the law is concerned.
If you hold the copyright to any material on this site, and want it removed, let me know I will do so immediately. Please do bear in mind though that I have spent an awful lot of time building this site, so if there is anything I can do in exchange for continuing to use the material (i.e., provided advertising for you, or anything else), I will be more than happy to help.
If you hold the copyright to any material on this site, and are not bothered by what you see here, please get in touch with me anyway. I would like permission to use the material, rather that just hope no-one takes offence.
