Danger Mouse
The Earth is in constant danger. Someone is either trying to blow it up, or take it over. The only thing that keeps the human race going is the fact that we don’t know about it.
Some would complain that we are being kept in the dark, but to be honest it’s the best way. I mean, if I knew that a toad (aka Baron Greenback) was planning to take over the world, and the only hope for humanity is a small mouse who lives in a post box somewhere in Mayfair, I’m sure I would begin to panic.
I know that according to the Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy, mice are supreme beings, but this so called superhero has only one eye and has a hamster as a friend. Supreme being or not, the fact still remains that he has only one eye which in my book is a disability.
If Baron Greenback only had one eye, then perhaps it would be a fair fight. Or am I blowing this out of all proportion? I know I have a habit of panicking over the slightest things, but we are talking about the future of the world here.
I spent over two years looking for DM on video, and eventually came across it at a boot market for the tidy sum of 5p. Bargain! The only thing that annoyed me is that after so long of searching, and eventually finding it, two weeks later I spotted 5 copies (count them, 5!) in a second hand shop, and have continued to see them scattered around in various other similar shops ever since.
There’s no two ways about it, Dangermouse was and still is an absolute classic. Non-stop entertainment from start to finish. Lots of action, lot’s of surreal jokes, lots of errr, stuff.
